Education innovator Geoffrey Canada, whose Harlem Children’s Zone serves more than 10,000 children in under-resourced city neighborhoods, will deliver the main address at Dartmouth’s 2013 Commencement exercises. Canada will also be one of 7 recipients of honorary degrees.
Additional speakers include Interim President Carol L. Folt and a valedictorian of the undergraduate senior class.

Commencement exercises will take place on the Dartmouth Green rain or shine. All family and guests are welcome to attend; no tickets are required. Seating is handled on a first come, first served basis beginning at 6:30 a.m. Guests are encouraged to take their seats by 9:15 a.m.
