Director Adrew Mudge introduces the film; discussion follows.

Indie director Andrew Mudge (and cousin of Theater Professor Jamie Horton) returns to the Upper Valley to present his newest film: a compelling coming-of-age story set in modern South Africa. Atang leaves the hustle of Johannesburg to bury his estranged father in the mountain village where he was born. There, he falls in love with a childhood friend, and through her is drawn to the mystical beauty and hardships of the land he had forgotten. D: Andrew Mudge, US, subtitled, 2013, 96m.
