Dartmouth Native Dance Society and Occom Pond Singers--"Circle of Friends" SAT MAY 3 11:00 AM Hop Plaza (Rain location: Alumni Hall) FREE

Join Dartmouth students from the Native American Program on the Hop Plaza for a preview of the annual Dartmouth Powwow. Members of the Occom Pond Singers and the Native Dance Society dance and sing in the traditions of their nations, including Fancy Shawl and Jingle dances. See the regalia and learn about the significance of music and dance in Native America, then everyone comes together to learn the Round Dance, a traditional Powwow dance. 

HopStops are for ages 3 and up with accompanying adult. Doors open at 10:30; seating is limited.
