The White Ribbon Campaign is Dartmouth’s annual campus-wide initiative to engage men in the work of ending sexual violence against women. This year's White Ribbon Campaign, sponsored by the Center for Gender and Student Engagement, the Special Programs and Events Committee, and Men's Form, will feature a full week of events and activities, including lectures, discussions, and community organizing.

The White Ribbon Campaign Keynote Address will be held on Monday, November 4 at 7:30pm in Dartmouth 105 and will feature Rus Funk, Executive Director and Founder of MensWork (http://mensworkinc.com/) – an organization that works across the country to organize men and boys in the effort to end sexual and domestic violence. Mr. Funk has founded or co-founded numerous organizations including Men Can Stop Rape, Inc., the Baltimore Alliance Against Child Sexual Abuse, Men for Gender Justice, the Washington Area Clinic Defense Task Force, People United for Justice, Mobilizing to End violeNce (MEN), among others. Rus has also written several books, including Stopping Rape:  A Challenge for Men in 1989 (the first book written by a men for men about stopping rape) and Reaching Men:  Strategies for Preventing Sexist Attitudes Behaviors and Violence (2006, Jist Publications) among numerous other articles, chapters and manuals. Rus is an internationally sought after speaker and trainer.
