The White Ribbon Campaign is Dartmouth’s annual campus-wide initiative to engage men in the work of ending sexual violence against women. This year's White Ribbon Campaign, sponsored by the Center for Gender and Student Engagement, the Special Programs and Events Committee, and Men's Form, will feature a full week of events and activities, including lectures, discussions, and community organizing.

Sexuality can a beautiful and healthy part of life. Sadly, many women are made to feel ashamed of their sexuality and their bodies. Join Ragen Chastain, renowned speaker, writer, dancer, and activist, for an enlightening and empowering discussion about healthy sexuality, positive body image, and the harmful effects of slut shaming for women. This intimate discussion will be held at 7pm on Thursday Nov. 7 in the Center for Gender and Student Engagement, located in the Choates. For more information, blitz CGSE@dartmouth.edu.

Ragen Chastain is a three-time National Champion dancer.  As a healthy fat athlete Ragen writes and speaks about self-esteem, body image, and Health at Every Size.  Her work has been published in forums including the Calgary Herald, Ottawa Citizen, Vancouver Sun, Democratic Underground, Feminocracy and Jezebel.com.  Her writing has been translated into multiple languages including Spanish, French and Bulgarian and her blog has readers on six continents in places as diverse as France, Australia, Korea and Libya. She’s been heard on NPR and Blog Talk Radio and spoken to groups from elementary school children to colleges to Rotary International.
