Candidate for faculty position in TDI/TDC
Summary: Rachel Thompson is an early stage investigator who has chosen to focus her career on research to advance patient-centered health care. In this invited presentation, Rachel will provide insights into the successes and learnings from her translational research to improve patient engagement in maternity care in Australia, describe her work in the development and implementation of innovative shared decision-making tools and measures in the United States, and outline her priorities for advancing the field of patient-centered health care into the future.
