Dr. Sarah Vitorino (also known as “Dr.V”) is a life coach and motivational speaker who specializes in helping people overcome challenges and achieve success, particularly incarcerated women.  Through her research, she found that the factors that help women succeed after prison are the same factors that can help anyone cope with trauma, transition, and turmoil, and lead a healthier, happier, more meaningful life.

Dr. V also works as a coach for the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center on a research project designed to help LGBTQ youth in foster care find permanent homes.

She earned a B.A. in Psychology from Westfield State University and a PhD in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies from Emory University.
