This event is for Alumni of Dartmouth and their children and is not open to the general public/community of Hanover.

Ideally, students should start planning for college early in their high school career, ensuring a comprehensive plan for their high school courses and extracurricular activities. This workshop is designed to familiarize parents and their college-bound children in grades 9-11 with the national college admissions process. Topics include:

  • Researching and visiting schools
  • Preparing for interviews
  • Completing college application
  • Understanding financial aid options

Workshop Schedule

1-2 pm: Preparation for College and the College Search

2:15-3pm: The Application and the Student Voice

3:15-4:15 pm: Introduction to Financial Aid and Q & A

* This event is not intended to promote Dartmouth College as a possible choice for you child and is not a workshop on how to get into Dartmouth. Attending this workshop will not have an impact on an application if your child decides to apply to Dartmouth.

This is a free workshop for alumni and their children on the national college application and admissions process. Registration is required and will open by mid-September.
