Kent Parker, Founder and President, Providence Hill Capital, LLC, is the former COO of Ariba (sold to SAP for $4.8 billion in 2012), the leading provider of business commerce technology solutions.  Prior to Ariba, Mr. Parker was the EVP, Global Services and an Executive Officer at FreeMarkets (enterprise sourcing technology solutions), and a member of the executive team that launched and grew Caribou Coffee (national coffeehouse retailer).  Prior to Caribou Coffee, he held various management and engineering roles at Textron and United Technologies.

Currently, Mr. Parker is serving as an independent board member of Freightquote.com (online freight logistics network), aPriori (enterprise cost management software) and PICS Auditing (enterprise contractor/supplier prequalification software).  He also serves as a member of the advisory boards of kCura (legal eDiscovery software), SproutBox (startup equity exchange fund) and Curvo Labs (medical supply ecommerce network).  He is active as an entrepreneurial investor, both as a limited partner in several venture capital funds and through his own personal investment entities.

Mr. Parker received his BSME from the University of Evansville and his MBA from Tuck.
