Objectives – Participants will be able to:
- Participants will recognize the basic biological consequences of inadequate nutrition.
- Participants will be able to identify the authorities that support the concepts of access to adequate nutrition being a basic human right and a basic human need.
- Participants will recognize the difference between the two competing theories explaining the cause of famine in the modern era.
- Participants will have a basic understanding for the biology underlying “man’s inhumanity to man.
