Debi Brooks T'86 is Executive Vice Chairman of The Michael J. Fox Foundation, the largest nonprofit supporter of Parkinson’s research in the world, funding more than $400 million in Parkinson’s drug development. The Foundation uses an entrepreneurial strategy to accelerate the development of new drugs. Ms. Brooks will discuss her role in co-founding the organization with Fox, as well as the power of establishing partnerships with investors, researchers and other stakeholders in the search for a cure for Parkinson's. She will also discuss how measuring the impact of potential partners’ research and technologies has influenced key decision making.
