In this class we will focus on paper, grain direction, and effective folding methods-issues also key to sewn books as well. We will create a few basic models that emphasize the versatility of the accordion structure, which one can look at page-by-page or as whole in a long strip. You will also have the option of staying after the hour-long class to learn a few more accordion structures that involve more folds, hard covers and pockets.
