Join us as Katerina guides us through what you need to know to get your product sales off the ground. All sessions will be held from 5:00PM - 6:30PM at the DEN Innovation Center and New Venture Incubator, 4 Currier Place, Suite 107, Hanover, NH 03755. Free and open to the public.

Monday, April 27th: Sale Techniques Part One
This workshop focuses on sale techniques. Practical recommendations will be given on where and how to start, what is the long list and how to build it.  In addition, the concept of a client questionnaire will be reviewed and why you need it.  Then, we will discuss modern and standard techniques for cold calls, e-mails, calls etc.  Finally we will talk about how to determine the right person in the organization, how to get around the "gatekeepers" and how to handle the first meeting.

Monday, May 4th: Sale Techniques Part Two
You've made contact. What next? This week we will learn how to develop the relationship with potential clients, how to work with their objections, the "Rule of 5 touches" and how to close the deal.  We will review the importance of working in a team.

Monday, May 11th: Big Contracts
Big contracts deserve special attention. Successful techniques for regular contracts may not be applicable. We will discover the aspects of a big contract, talk about special techniques for getting in contact with potential clients and the specifics of price negotiation. Finally, we will discuss strategies and tactics on how to deal with the competition. "Business is a war where captives are selling themselves for peanuts."

Monday, May 18th: Selling an idea. Having an exit strategy.
How can you sell something which does not yet exist? We will talk about tips for selling three types of ideas to the potential investor: 1) Research projects, 2) Start-ups, 3) Business growth.  Next we will review exit strategies on your business:  when to exit, to whom, how and for how much?
