Five pieces of contrasting styles and movement vocabularies make up this program set to the music of Philip Glass, alt-J, Aphex Twin, Tyondai Braxton and Polish electroacoustic musician Jacaszek. Drawing together students, staff, and members of the community, the ensemble embodies exciting new choreography by (co-leaders) Brooklyn-based choreographer Heginbotham, formerly with the Mark Morris Dance Group, and the Manhattan-based Stenn, a MOMIX veteran now leading her own company; as well as members Mina Lawton, a locally based choreographer, dancer and teacher, and Philip Montana, a professional dancer-turned-medical-student.
