Dartmouth music faculty members Ogle and Hayes, inspired by James Gaines’ book Evening in the Palace of Reason, collaborate with outstanding student musicians in a performance of music by Frederick the Great of Prussia and members of his court, as well as excerpts from The Musical Offering, given by J.S. Bach to Frederick after the occasion of their meeting.
