FIRST® LEGO® League Tournament at Thayer
Each fall Thayer hosts the FIRST® LEGO® League qualifier event, a robotics competition that introduces young students (grades 4-8) to the excitement of science and technology.

On Saturday, November 14, 2015 Thayer will host the Dartmouth FIRST® LEGO® League tournament, an all-day robotics competition for local elementary and middle school teams. Each fall, FIRST® LEGO® League announces its annual challenge. The challenge for 2015 is Trash Trek, where students will discover how to collect, sort, and reuse trash. Using LEGO® Mindstorms® technologies and bricks, teams work to design, build, and program robots to solve real-world issues.
This event is free and open to the public.
