Professor Amy Lawrence's animated film My Life in Houses is explored in the current Film & Media Studies Gallery presentation on the 2nd Floor of the Black Family Visual Arts Center, open 10 AM - 5 PM Monday through Thursday through the end of Fall Term.

Professor Lawrence describes the film as "An animated life seen through six houses and the journeys between them.  Simple plans become detailed pencil sketches, color cross-sections, a photo-montages, and fabric miniatures- accompanied by vintage music detailing a life and marraige."
