Kevin Casas-Zamora was a nonresident senior fellow in the Foreign Policy program's Latin America Initiative at Brookings. Previously, he has served as the secretary for political affairs at the Organization of American States, as a senior fellow in the Foreign Policy program at Brookings, and as Costa Rica’s second vice president and minister of national planning. He is the author of numerous studies on campaign finance, elections, democratic governance, and citizen security in Latin America.
