Young people are told time and time again that their generation will be the first to experience the impacts of climate change. At the same time, adequate climate change policies are not being enacted by governments. As part of her Stamps Award and Senior Fellowship, Leehi Yona ’16 traveled to Clyde River, Nunavut, a coastal Arctic community that is both on the front lines of climactic changes, and is also fighting seismic testing for oil and gas drilling off their coast. What does the Arctic look like from the lens of a young person? What does the Arctic look like to someone who is not from there?

Brief remarks followed by reception.
