Water River Life-Giver will feature both speakers and a discussion panel to bring awareness to the water crises that challenge our communities. The event is open to the public and free of charge. The Abenaki drumming and singing group, Black Hawk Singers, will provide opening and closing songs for the event.

Joining Vice President Nez, will be three other speakers/panelists: Barry Lampke, Voices of the Lake, Duane "Chili" Yazzie, Shiprock Chapter President, and Tommy Rock, Rock Environmental Consulting.

To gain awareness about the issue, the website WaterRiverLifeGiver.org will feature articles, news, and contests for art, poetry, and blog writing with a focus on “Clean Water is an Everybody Issue.” Speaker biographies and a link for a Livestream of the event is available at WaterRiverLifeGiver.org.
