What is MLDP?

MLDP is a one-term program designed to develop your leadership and management skills. This weekly series gives you a mix of theory and practical skills presented by accomplished experts who share the secrets to success for your endeavors at Dartmouth and beyond. MLDP focuses on ten skills top employers want you to have when you enter the job field.

In MLDP, you will;

  • learn about your leadership strengths,
  • improve areas of needed growth,
  • learn to mobilize and lead a group,
  • learn important technical skills applicable in any job field.

What does MLDP include?

  • A choice between two sections on Tuesdays
    (4:30-6:30pm or 6:00-8:00pm)
  • A chance to visit and explore leadership in a local business
  • An outdoor theoretical leadership simulation
  • Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator profile professionally analyzed
  • A negotiation session led by a law professor
  • A public speaking session
  • Free group dinner
