This Thursday the 29th, the PEP student Leadership Council will be sponsoring their first event of the year. Have you ever wondered whether you ought to haggle when buying something in a developing country? This event will be on “The Ethics of Travel in Developing Countries” and will cover topics such as haggling, bribery, begging, legal and social norms, and more. The discussion will include Dartmouth professors Jeremy Horowitz (Government), Douglas J. Moody (Spanish & Portugese, LALACS), and Paul Novosad (Economics). It takes place at 4:30 PM in Rockefeller 2, and there will be snacks.
