Janice M. McCabe

Assistant Professor of Sociology
Affiliated with Women's and Gender Studies

I teach courses about gender, youth, social problems, and research methods. My current research investigates inequalities in college culture, youth’s social networks, the stories batterers tell about their relationships, and media representations of children. I am writing a book about undergraduates’ friendships, Friends with Academic Benefits: How Friendship Networks Matter During and After College.
