About the Book

This volume contains Theodor Geisel's own reflections on his early career — from high school through the publication in 1937 of And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street. The text is drawn from audio recordings made in 1975, and was edited by Edward Connery Lathem with an introduction by President James Wright.
