Chickadees Too - Associate Teacher

My name is Amy, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team as an Associate Teacher in the Chickadee Too Room. I hold a certificate in Early Education and Care from my high school technical program and earned my degree in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire. Since graduating in 2020, my journey has brought me full circle back to my passion for early childhood education.

After graduation, I gained more hands-on experience working at a center near the seacoast, where I discovered my love for nurturing young minds and creating engaging learning environments. This experience solidified my decision to focus on early childhood education, and I’m excited to bring that enthusiasm and dedication to this role.

Recently, my boyfriend, our two cats, and I relocated to the Upper Valley from the seacoast. I’m looking forward to exploring this beautiful area and am especially excited to dive into my hobbies of baking and painting. Whether it’s experimenting with new recipes or expressing myself through art, these activities bring me a lot of joy and relaxation.

I’m excited about partnering with families and supporting the growth and development of each child in my care. Thank you for welcoming me to the team—I can’t wait to get started!
