With a strong alignment to faculty priorities and Dartmouth's overarching mission, Hailey LaVoy is dedicated to helping Dartmouth scholars think strategically about their research plans, their professional goals, and their long-term and immediate intellectual impacts.
In her role as Assistant Director, Hailey works closely with Dartmouth's faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students in the Arts & Humanities and Interdisciplinary Divisions to identify and secure internal and external funding that will advance their research agendas. Additionally she aids Dartmouth scholars in pinpointing suitable publishers and refining their book proposals for scholarly presses. Hailey also serves as the primary resource for Dartmouth's faculty, postdocs, and administrators applying to the Fulbright U.S. Scholars Program.
Since 2016, Hailey has contributed her expertise to various campus divisions, including the Offices of the Board of Trustees, the Dean of Faculty, and the Advancement Division. She holds an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from the University of Notre Dame.
