Senior Associate Director, GrantGPS & Thayer School of Engineering
Miguel Morales joined GrantGPS in November 2023 as Senior Associate Director (Engineering
Grant Support). He catalyzes major strategic research initiatives to bolster extramurally
funded scholarship, with a focus on areas of expertise at the Thayer School of Engineering.
Prior to joining GrantGPS, Miguel served as the Sr Associate Director of Corporate
and Foundation Relations at Dartmouth where he developed and executed a robust corporate
engagement program and deepened relationships with foundations. Miguel holds a Ph.D.
in molecular biology and biochemistry and was a postdoctoral fellow at NYU, a senior
scientist at the Pasteur Institute, and an Assistant Professor at the University of
Notre Dame.
Miguel brings over 20 years of experience in higher education as a faculty, collaborative researcher, fundraiser, and strategic leader. He has authored over 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications and two book chapters.
