Synopsis
This film contains biographical information on Dartmouth artist in residence Paul Sample and shows him discussing his approach to painting through the creation of a work called "Mountain Farm." The process begins with a visit to a farm, where he makes pencil sketches. In his studio he consolidates these into a charcoal composition, which he then transfers to canvas.
