Listen to the interview:

Louis: "We had 723 in our class and we met in the old field house and all the students sat on the floor and President Hopkins very informally, without a tie, walked around amongst the students just expounding spontaneously to these new matriculates. And he said three things which I recall as if it were yesterday. He said remember how your loyalties go: first your college, second your class and third your fraternity. And the other thing that he said, he says we are not gonna to teach you a lot of facts and figures but Dartmouth is going to teach you how to think. And I sat there and I thought, how they hell are they going to teach me to think? But it did."
