Description
Fourteen leaves (five bifolia and four single leaves reattached to form bifolia) of a French psalter, ca. 1160-1180. Written in a fine romanesque hand in one column of 16 lines, it contains 11 large initials in gold, red, and blue. Each verse begins with a red or blue initial and there are line fillers present. There are additions to the text in a fifteenth-century gothic hand of the Netherlands and notes in Dutch.
