Sherman Art Library
View Art Special Collections by appointment:
Developed in 1929, Sherman Art Library is located in Carpenter Hall, and is connected to the Baker-Berry Library. Sherman supports all aspects of the curriculum, with special focus on Art History and Studio Art, as well as the Hood Museum of Art collections and the Book Arts Workshop. Highlights of the collection include exhibition catalogs from around the world, image databases, and the Art Special Collection which features handmade artists' books, manuscript facsimiles, catalogues raisonnés, and other rare art historical items.
