Founded in 1968, Beyer Blinder Belle (BBB) is an international architecture and planning practice with offices in New York City and Washington, DC. Planning and design for educational institutions have been central to BBB’s practice throughout the firm’s history. Campuses are complex, multi-layered communities that resonate with the firm’s integrated approach to preservation and development within a framework of open space and infrastructure, creating designs which support and enable a vibrant academic and social environment. BBB’s master plans are visionary, yet achievable, and have a direct impact on the implementation of projects that realize a broader vision.
BBB has provided master planning and design services for numerous academic institutions, including Princeton University, Harvard Business School, Columbia University, Lehigh University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and New York University. The firm’s work has been recognized by numerous awards including the SCUP 2008 AIA-CAE Honor Award for the Princeton Campus Plan.
