Room/Cluster Features & Amenities
Most of Dartmouth's undergraduate student rooms are furnished with a twin bed, wooden desk, desk chair, dresser, bookcase, and a closet or wardrobe for each occupant. In addition, rooms includes local and domestic long distance telephone service, cable, and Ethernet connections.
Common areas include a kitchen with ice machine and microwave, as well as study and lounge space. These spaces can be used for private studying or get-togethers, as well as for community programs sponsored by the community student staff or other College organizations.
Additionally, residential buildings include vending machines, laundry machines, public phones, and recycling areas. A large custodial staff provides general upkeep of building common areas and public and private bathroom facilities.
