Code Blue Phones
Walking and tours of the campus to review exterior lighting are conducted twice each year by a safety committee composed of students and representatives from Residential Life, Facilities Operations and Management, the Dean of the College office and Safety and Security. Recommendations for improvements are submitted to the appropriate offices for action. The College also routinely surveys shrubbery and trees to ensure clear, unobstructed visibility for students, employees, and guests who walk from building to building.
Emergency Phones
Seventy-four (74) "Code Blue" emergency telephones with direct contact to Safety and Security have been installed. These telephones can be used to report a criminal incidence, fire, illness, suspicious person or any other type of emergency. They are in the located across campus and can be identified by the emergency label vertically printed and a blue strobe light atop their structure. Simply pressing the button directly connects the caller with Safety and Security's dispatch center while also notifying the dispatcher of the caller's location. Blue Light Phone Map
