2024 Campaign Events
Power of Community Event
Tuesday, November 19 from 11:30a - 1p
Grand Ballroom, Hanover Inn
Over 100 employees attended this wonderful event! They:
- Connected with over 15 local nonprofit agencies
- Learned more about how to get involved in the Granite United Way campaign and what local volunteer opportunities are available
- Packed 50 winter kits, made a variety of beautiful ornaments, and wrote out a large stack of cards for community members!
- Used the knitting machines from Dartmouth's Cable Makerspace to knit a hat for a community member in need
- Visited with Therapy Dog, Baxter
- Entered raffle drawings for lots of great prizes including a Dartmouth Skiway Season Pass, an iPad from the Computer Store, Dartmouth hockey tickets, and a local basket of goodies (all graciously donated by our partners)!
- Participated in our Warm Essentials Donation Drive -- 3 huge bags filled with hats, mittens, gloves, and socks were gathered and donated to local agencies!
- Enjoyed free chili (meat and vegetarian options) and cider

Dartmouth Football Game vs. CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE
Saturday, October 19
One dollar from each ticket purchased to this game was donated to Granite United Way - a total of $1,170!
Several individuals were honored during the game for having a strong committment to our community including:

- Amy Bardos, Human Resources, Timken Aerospace
