As founder and CEO of Sproxil, Ashifi Gogo created a technology that verifies the authenticity of pharmaceutical products using a cell phone.
MAKING A MARKGogo refined his idea for Sproxil's technology, Mobile Product Authentication (MPA), while finishing his electrical engineering degree at Thayer. The U.S. Department of Commerce recently recognized MPA's role in the global fight against counterfeit medication by awarding Sproxil with a 'Patents for Humanity' Award, given to those whose intellectual property address global challenges in health and standards of living.
