In a decade that saw the country's first African-American president elected to his second term in office and New Hampshire's election of the nation's first all-female congressional delegation, Dartmouth celebrates 40 years of a more inclusive, diverse campus. While taking time to reflect on this critical point in Dartmouth's history, the community is also engaged in a strategic planning process that looks ahead to the institution's 250th anniversary in 2019.
