Code of Conduct
The Dartmouth Brain Imaging Center (DBIC) is dedicated to providing a welcoming, professional, safe, and harassment-free environment for people of every sex, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, marital status, disability, medical/genetic condition, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, age, religion, caste, socioeconomic status and/or country of origin. We encourage all researchers and research participants to help us in creating a space where every member can benefit from participating in research studies being conducted in the DBIC.
Researchers using the DBIC are expected to conduct themselves in a safe and professional manner at all times and to follow all policies and procedures as laid out by the DBIC and Dartmouth College.
- The use of drugs and alcohol are never permitted or tolerated in the DBIC, nor is working in the DBIC under the influence of drugs or alcohol. (see also: Dartmouth's drug-free campus and workplace policies)
- The possession and use of weapons are explicitly prohibited in the DBIC (see also: Weapons policy)
- The DBIC is in compliance with the Dartmouth College Sexual and Gender-Based Misconduct Policy.
