Portable processional in Latin and Dutch written in the southern Netherlands, ca. 1560, by six scribes. The manuscript is on paper with a limp vellum wallet binding. Music is square notation on four-line staves. The texts are primarily for Marian processions. Purchase on the Benz Fund.

Processional used in a house of Poor Clares in Spain. The volume is written in a rounded gothic liturgical hand with notation in square gothic. Rulings are in brown and headings are in red. The initials are in gold on red or blue grounds. The texts include the liturgy for the distribution of candles, the procession for the feast of the purification of the Virgin, procession for Palm Sundy, procession from the Sepulchre, and the order for reception of sisters into the community. The volume is in a binding of vellum over pasteboards with two string clasps. On the front pastedown is the notation: "Este libro es de mi senora Beatriz de Castro Mataz Cadena Pardo. Fourteen leaves (five bifolia and four single leaves reattached to form bifolia) of a French psalter, ca. 1160-1180. Written in a fine romanesque hand in one column of 16 lines, it contains 11 large initials in gold, red, and blue. Each verse begins with a red or blue initial and there are line fillers present. There are additions to the text in a fifteenth-century gothic hand of the Netherlands and notes in Dutch. Gift of the Friends of the Library and purchase on the Benz Fund.
