Dartmouth contracted shuttle service providers, their drivers, and Dartmouth Transportation
Services, can deny a ride(s) or bar access to rides, when any of the following regulations
are not honored.
Dartmouth shuttles will only perform pick-ups and drop-offs at pre-defined stops along
a fixed route. For more information, refer to the fixed route map.
Riders can get on and off at any pre-defined stop along the fixed route.
The shuttle is not available to the public and requires a Dartmouth College ID, DHMC
ID, APDMH ID, or Summit on Juniper guest or resident pass to ride. Be prepared to
provide the ID or pass to the driver upon boarding the shuttle.
Dartmouth ID and Summit on Juniper pass holders may sponsor guest riders, when the
sponsor accompanies their guest on the ride.
Dartmouth constituents must meet all Dartmouth health and safety guidelines in place
at the time of the ride, in addition to any CDC guidelines required of the shuttle
service to enforce by law.
Please be respectful to the driver, vehicle, and other passengers always.
You may not eat or drink while in the vehicle.
Be ready to go when your vehicle arrives and enter and exit your vehicle promptly
- it helps keep wait times down.
Clean up after yourself. Please don't leave any garbage in the vehicle.
Check to make sure you have all your possessions before exiting the vehicle, especially
your bookbag, keys and cell phone.
If you are unsure of when your shuttle will arrive at a particular stop, please check
the tracker app when available to see the shuttle’s location.
Drivers reserve the right to refuse service in situations that place them or their
passengers in danger. Examples of this may include intoxicated, disorderly, or abusive
passengers.
Dartmouth will charge a $250.00 fee if a passenger vomits in a shuttle to cover the
cost of cleaning the vehicle.
Shuttles do not provide emergency medical transports.
Security Notice to Dartmouth Shuttle Riders
Shuttles are equipped with active video and audio recording equipment.
Drivers carry mobile devices for emergency use and are required to report intoxicated,
disorderly, or abusive passengers to the Department of Safety and Security and/or
the police.
In the event of a medical emergency, fire emergency, or crimes in progress, drivers
will call 9-1-1.
