The platform focuses on helping users upskill, reskill, and acquire new skills relevant to their current roles or future career goals. Users can create personalized learning paths based on individual needs or access predefined learning paths curated by the Learning, Development, and Engagement team.

Getting Started with LinkedIn Learning

Accessing LinkedIn Learning for the first time is quick and easy. Follow these steps to activate your account and personalize your learning experience.

 

1. Access LinkedIn Learning

Accessible 24/7 from your desktop or mobile device, visit LinkedIn Learning by accessing the Dartmouth activation link here

 

2. Log In

Using your Single Sign-On (SSO) Dartmouth credentials. 

 

3. Connect Your LinkedIn Profile 

Connecting your profile allows for personalized course recommendations and showcases completed courses on your LinkedIn profile. If you do not wish to link your profile, you can opt out of this during the activation process.

 

4. Set Up Your Learning Preferences

Choose topics or areas of interest, such as business, creative, or technology skills. This helps LinkedIn Learning recommend courses tailored to your preferences.

 

5. Start Exploring 

Once your account is set up, you’ll land on the LinkedIn Learning homepage. From here, you can search for courses, browse recommendations, and begin learning whenever and wherever you are.
