Dartmouth is proud to offer a comprehensive, flexible benefits program that provides a range of options to to support you and your family.  Please take this opportunity to review the information below.

What is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes to your current benefit elections, add/remove dependents or enroll/remove existing coverage. Changes take effect on January 1, 2025.

When is Open Enrollment?

October 21, 2024 (8am)
through
November 4, 2024 (11:59pm)

Changes cannot be made after November 4th without an IRS eligible qualified life event.

Should I Take Action?

Yes, the Benefits Office recommends that you review your benefit elections annually.  If you do not take action most of your current benefit elections will carry forward into 2025.  However FSA's (including the child care subsidy), HSAs and the annual membership at Alumni gym do require that you actively enroll each year.

2025 Medical Plan Rate Changes

As previously communicated, Dartmouth will permenantly increase its medical subsidy commitment and simplify the salary tiering structure for the 2025 plan year.  Please take a moment to read the notice that was emailed to all benefit eligible employees on October 9th.

ask Emma

The ask Emma Decision Support Tool is available again this year in FlexOnline.  Click on the "Continue with Audio" button when prompted, answer a few questions letting Emma know how you think you and your covered family members might use your medical plan in 2025 and get a recommendation on a medical plan. Click on "Continue without Audio" when prompted to bypass the ask Emma option.
