Known as EDUCATORS LEGAL LIABILITY, since 1992 Dartmouth has insured its Trustees & Officers, Errors and Omissions, and Employment Practices Liability through United Educators Insurance, a Reciprocal Risk Retention Group. United Educators is a leader in providing practical, relevant risk management resources to its members. As a member, we have access to a variety of easy-to-use, education-specific risk management resources to aid in the improvement of our institution's awareness of liability issues and strengthen its ability to avoid or control losses.

Anyone with an email address from Dartmouth should follow the instructions below to register for our website.
To get started please go to the United Educators website indicated above and click the "register" link on the right-hand side of the screen underneath the login fields, enter your email address when prompted, and you will be sent a temporary password via email. You can then login to the website with your email address and the temporary password and you will be asked to create a permanent password.
Once you have registered for the website it is recommended you visit Learn@UE, a comprehensive learning center that includes:
- Ask UE, a discussion forum addressing timely risk management topics
- The Risk Management Library, a compilation of more than 600 publications and resources on risk management in education
- Roundtables, a listing of upcoming events and audio recordings of past UE telephone Roundtables
- Online Courses, education-focused risk management programs at his convenience
The My UE page is another useful resource found on United Educator's website. This is your personal homepage that features tools such as a link to the Risk Management Library, an email address to submit risk management related questions, and the latest issue of our UE This Week e-newsletter. There is a link to the MY UE page in the top right-hand corner of each website screen.
