Note: Any first-time photo received by the DartCard office is considered a request for preparing an ID card.

Information for ID Replacements

Note: New photo submissions for an ID account with an existing photo will not have a ID card printed. If a replacement is needed, please send an email request or visit our office.

Identity Verification

A legal form of ID (Driver's License, Passport, Visa) is necessary for obtaining a first-time ID card. 

Submit your legal form of ID through GET when you upload your photo for a seamless experience. 

Replacement ID cards do not require this verification.

Undergraduate & Graduate Students

Undergraduate and Graduate students beginning in the fall will be able to obtain their Dartmouth ID card in the weeks prior to the start of their first term.

Students beginning outside the normal academic calendar can obtain their card when they arrive on campus for the start of their first term.

Returning Undergraduate & Graduate Students may need to obtain replacement ID cards upon return to campus. Please visit our office, or email ahead to find out more.
