Accounts Payable Checks
Checks can be picked up on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Suite 302.
- These checks are available in Suite 302 and filed alphabetically by department until someone from the designated department picks the checks up. At the end of the day, the remaining checks are locked in the safe.
- A valid picture identification card is required in order to release checks to an individual; Dartmouth College issued ID preferred. The person signing for the checks is responsible for delivering all the checks back to the department. It is not allowed to remove just one check from an envelope.
- Attached to the envelope is an "Accounts Payable Special Check Release Form", which is to be signed and dated by the individual picking up a check.
- After 2 weeks if a check hasn't been picked up it is returned to Accounting Services.
Payroll Checks
Checks can be picked up on Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Suite 309.
- These checks are kept in the Payroll Office and filed alphabetically by department until someone from the designated department picks the checks up. At the end of the day, the remaining checks are locked in the safe.
